The MAL-LIGHTING µHLD1© Lamp provides excellent value for your money. You can use it either with standard alkaline batteries or Nicad and NiMh rechargeable cells. It has been designed specifically for underwater use, although there are no reasons why you can’t use it out of the water. Extreme brightness, absolute reliability and economical use are just some of the features of this lamp. Even in the unforgiving conditions encountered underwater, the MAL-LIGHTING µHLD1© Lamp provides color balanced lighting that is practically break-proof. The light-emitter (“bulb” for us old folks) is a new generation HLD© with a manufacturer specified MTBF of 50,000 hours. This light emitter is optimally focused by a lens-reflector specifically designed by MAL-Lighting. The MAL-LIGHTING µHLD1© Lamp, due to it’s extreme brightness, doesn’t show up 2^nd best when compared to normal halogen diving lights. The surface texturing on the case helps make it slip proof. The µHLD1© is pressure tested and waterproof to a depth of 660 feet.
